I think there are very few news in the world that actually can send you and everyone you know into a celebration frenzy. And one of them is the birth of a child. After days of Speculation, on 29th of June 2007, Akshata called him from India with the news that she had just delivered a baby Boy.
Roshan's excitement could be heard in his voice. When he called I could see the joy of new life in the eyes of each and everyone of my friends. We were actually on route to Fujeirah that day and the news actually added to the joy.
On the way back we helped Roshan try to find a name for his new born baby boy and he was happy with the name "Rishi" for a start. It was time to pop open the champaign and start the celebrations. And it was not right to leave Sharath out of the celebrations.
We headed out to Sharath's Place (our favorite hangout) and celebrated.
It was a week later until when we got together again for the second bash (official) to celebrate Roshan being a dad. The theme of the party was Daddy Daddy Daddy .... Daddy Daddy Cool.
