Following recently formed traditions of One Trip a Month after sulking over the fact that we did not do one in May (The event of that month was my engagement), June was slipping fast from our hands and simultaneous vacations to Bangalore from Venki and Monisha did not help planning the trip, cos our two most voiced opinions and 'idea' ologists were missing.
Once they returned, The original destination was Mussandam in Oman, and got canceled due to the high heat in the region at the moment. The target date of 29th approached and we were still thinking of what we do. Then in an impromptu decision we borrowed a copy of Off-Road Explorer Dubai and headed out for the tiny desert oasis of which is off the coast in Fujeirah.
I will let the pictures do the talking and also have added a map to show the locations we went to. Sounds like fun .... Here we go. By the way like always this is taken more than long to get into the blog.

While we were leaving we got the news of Roshan's Dad hood ... I mean Akshata had just delivered a baby boy. More on that later.
